R.2023-03 Release Notes

Overview of all enhancements, changes, and corrections contained in the 2023-03 base release of ClickClaims.


Changes

Daily and Catastrophe Commission Percentages Added to Accounting Module:

  • An optional setting is now available that, when enabled, allows you to manage both daily and catastrophe commission rates for the “Adjuster”, “Admin”, and “Other” parties, as well as for holdback, via the Accounting module.     When creating the invoice, the billing engine defers to the claim’s “File Type” field to determine whether to utilize the daily or catastrophe rate.  This setting is disabled by default.

 

New Automated Claim Task Trigger of File Status/File Status Reason:

  • We now have a new optional setting that, when enabled, allows you to create a trigger point for automated claim tasks of “When File Status is Set”.     This lets you generate and assign automated claim tasks based on the claim’s File Status and File Status Reason.     This setting is disabled by default.

 

Legal Tab – Complete Button User Permission Updated:

  • An optional setting, when enabled, now allows any eligible user to mark a “Pre-Suit Event”, “Pre-Suit”, or “Litigation Event” record as complete from the claim’s “Legal” tab.  If they opt to proceed with completing the record when one or more required fields remain unpopulated, a request to override the completion requirements is submitted and eligible users associated with the “Owner” or “Administrator” user role can then view these in the “Legal – Litigation Complete Override Requested” Dashboard widget and complete them from the “Complete Override Requested Grid” page or from within the claim’s “Legal” tab.
