Solving Pop-Up Window Issues (Letters, Modules, etc.)

Issue:


When attempting to create a letter, or launch other pop-up windows within ClickClaims, the user experiences an issue where nothing happens—the expected letter creation, or other popup, does not appear. This issue sometimes appears when using the Letters Module. 


Cause:


This behavior is typically due to the browser blocking popups from the ClickClaims application.


Resolution Steps:


To resolve this issue, ensure the browser's popup settings allow ClickClaims popups:

  1. Check Browser Settings:
    Verify if your browser has popup blocking enabled, especially your company's ClickClaims URL.

  2. Enable Popups in Chrome:
    If you're using Google Chrome, follow these steps to enable popups either globally or specifically for ClickClaims:

    • Navigate to Chrome's popup settings by following the instructions here:
      How to Allow or Block Pop-ups in Chrome

    • You may choose to enable popups globally or add the ClickClaims URL specifically to the allowed sites list.

  3. Restart Browser (if necessary):
    After changing the popup settings, restart Chrome and try creating the letter again in ClickClaims.


Verification:


After adjusting your settings, confirm resolution by creating a letter again in ClickClaims to ensure the popup appears correctly.
