R.2021-06 Release Notes

New Enhancements

Event List Manager Updated with Date Range:

  • An optional setting is now available allowing a date range to be associated to Event records in ClickClaims.  An administrative user can add/edit an event record from the list manager and enter an associated “Start” and “End” date range for it.  Then, when the “Event” field is set on the claim, if the claim’s DOL is outside of that event’s date range, a validation occurs when clicking the “Save Summary” button stating that the selected event can’t be saved because the claim’s DOL is not within the date range of the selected event.  E-Claim can enable this setting for your site upon request by an authorized contact.

Changes

Mailing Address Added to Contact/Claimants Page:

  • We’ve added the insured’s “Mailing Address” as primary columns on the claim’s “Contacts/Claimants” tab so you and your users can now view and report on that information from this page’s data grid.  We’ve also moved the “Business Address” columns from primary to secondary columns.

Loss Assessment and Fair Rental Value/Loss of Rents Claim Flags:

  • You can now track “Loss Assessment” and “Fair Rental Value/Loss of Rents” on your claims via new claim flags accessed from the “Review” claim tab.  These new flags are disabled by default, but an administrative user can enable them from the “Flags” list manager.

Corrections

Check Importer Bug Fix:

  • Fixed bug found with the Check Importer process, which populates the “Check Date” on a payment record, so that the history is updated after the change has been made instead of before.     Additionally, an activity log is now automatically populated on the claim’s “Notes” tab under the “System” note type and “EDI” note sub-type when this action occurs.

Omit all Mark-Off Claims from All Widgets Except “Flag-Mark-Off” Widget:

  • When you go to the ClickClaims Dashboard now, all widgets, except for the “Flag-Mark-Off” widget, will exclude claims that are flagged as “Mark-Off”.

Fixed Issue Causing ClickClaims Windows to Freeze Up:

  • We fixed known issues that caused the browser session to freeze after selecting a field option that required the page to reload - in order to display new information on the page – resulting in the need to close the browser.
