Product & Service Item (PSI) Isn't Showing in Claim Note

If a Product and Service Item (PSI) exists in ClickClaims, but isn't an available item to choose from when entering T&E in a claim note record, please ensure that the PSI has been added to the appropriate Activity Type record(s) and that Activity Type is what you're selecting within the Claim Note window.

  1. As an authorized user, mouse over the "Tools" menu bar button, mouse over "Manage" in the drop-list, and select "Activity Types" from the flyout menu.
  2. Click "New" to create a new Activity Type record or select an existing one and click "View".
  3. In a previously saved Activity Type, click the "Add" button located within the "Associated Products & Services" section of the "Activity Manager" page.
  4. Locate the applicable PSI record from the "Products and Services" window and check the checkbox.
  5. Click "Add".  The PSI should now display in the "Associated Products & Services" section of the "Activity Manager" page.
  6. Click the "Save" button on the "Activity Manager" page.
  7. Create a new claim note for the desired claim.
  8. Select the appropriate Activity Type from the "Enter an activity name or code" drop-list field of the "Claim Note" window.
  9. The PSI should now be listed within the "Select a product or service" field's drop-list.
