If a Products and Services Item (PSI) is present in ClickClaims but isn't selectable when entering T&E in a claim note record, please verify that the PSI has been incorporated into the correct Activity Type record(s) and that the Activity Type is the one you are choosing within the Claim Note window.
- As an authorized user (Owner; Administrator; Accounting), position your cursor over the "Tools" menu bar button, then move over "Manage" in the dropdown list, and select "Activity Types" from the flyout menu.
- Click "New" to generate a new Activity Type record or choose an existing one and click "View".
- In a previously saved Activity Type, click the "Add" button found in the "Associated Products & Services" section on the "Activity Manager" page.
- Find the relevant PSI record in the "Products and Services" window and select the checkbox.
- Click "Add". The PSI should now appear in the "Associated Products & Services" area of the "Activity Manager" page.
- Click the "Save" button on the "Activity Manager" page.
- Generate a new claim note for the specified claim.
- Choose the suitable Activity Type from the "Enter an activity name or code" drop-down menu in the "Claim Note" window.
- The PSI should now appear in the drop-down list of the "Select a product or service" field.
Note: If a checkbox does not appear next to the PSI in step 4, it means the PSI is already linked to the chosen Activity Type.
